A five-year-old boy was struck and killed by a car in a neighborhood in Chino on Sunday evening. According to reports given to the police, the child lived on the street where the collision happened. We extend our condolences to the loved ones of the young boy.
Officials are still looking into what caused the accident, as the driver if the vehicle, an 18-year-old young man from Chino remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators. It is believed that alcohol and drugs were not to have played a role in the accident.
Police ask that if you have any information about the cause of the collision or any information in regards to this case, you are urged to call the Chino Police Department at (909) 628-1234.
