Our client injured his hand when the vehicle he was riding in rolled. Our client is a union welder with substantial and respected experience in his union. This accident injured the carpals, meta-carpals and some of the distal-phalanges of his right dominant hand. Because this injury affected his ability to work as a union welder with substantial training and experience within his union, the damages sustained by our client were substantial. Additionally, the defendant in this accident was a close friend of our client. We resolved the case for the maximum available policy limits while demonstrating damages fully inclusive of the injury. Due to our skillful representation we prevented the friendship between our client and the defendant being leveraged to under-settle the case by the insurance company and the two remain friends today.
