Client went to Home Depot to pick up a BBQ Grill they had previously purchased. As our client and the Home Depot employee began loading the BBQ Grill onto the bed of the truck, the employee negligently dropped his end of the BBQ Grill causing a sharp edge to crush our client’s left hand. Our client’s left hand sustained a 4.5-centimeter laceration of the left extensor tendons. The crush injury damaged the tendons controlling the movement of our client’s index, middle and ring fingers. We obtained the full maximum Policy Limit and we got majority of the settlement in our client’s pocket.
