Shooting on 91 Freeway Causes Closures

A shooting on the 91 Freeway in Anaheim on Sunday evening temporarily closed down the freeway. According to reports, a motorcyclist was shot. However, it is believed that the wound is non-threatening. the shooting was reported just after 5pm and the lanes on eastbound 91 were reopened at around 8:20pm. According to an ABC7 News report, a 17-year-old La Habra boy died early Thursday morning. the car he was traveling in was struck by metal debris on a freeway in Anaheim. Ethan Hawks, 17, was riding in the passenger seat of his mother’s vehicle when a piece of metal on the roadway was hit by another vehicle. the metal object smashed through the sedan’s windshield and struck the teen in the face, causing major injuries.

According to ABC7 News, a 70-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run in East Hollywood late Sunday evening.
